Doing different jobs and developing the essential skill sets required by each individual trade has been a challenge. These skill sets did not develop overnight but were a culmination of trial and error, the passage of time, my own meticulous attention to detail, and of course, paying bills. My Dad once said, “Paying bills is a lot like a wagon wheel. There is no end to it.”
I have always enjoyed a challenge and the biggest one was coming home to tackle the problems at my own house.
I have worked in several trades over the years, became proficient at most of them, provided for my family, and all the while donating to Uncle Sam. I took classes for HVAC but the rest were learned hands-on and guided by tradesmen as we worked side by side. This is a list of those trades:
- Masonry
- Plumbing
- HVAC
- Carpentry
- Electrical
I started this website to help those of you doing your own home maintenance and weekend warrior projects, all the while working a full-time job. The upkeep of a house can be a full-time job in itself but the majority of us have to cram it into a part-time side job. I hope I can be of some help.
Website looks good Paul. Keep up the good work. Chuck
